IMDEX ASIA 2009 EXHIBITION 100% SOLD

Sell-out reflects continued emphasis by the region on maritime defence despite economic slowdown.

The exhibition space at IMDEX Asia 2009, the premier dedicated maritime defence show serving the Asia-Pacific region, has been sold out, a reflection of the emphasis that the region is still placing on defence of the seas despite the present economic climate.IMDEX Asia 2009, the seventh in the biennial series to be organised by IMDEX Asia Singapore, will be held at Singapore Expo from 12-14 May. It will feature 136 exhibitors from more than 20 countries across 10,000 sqm of hall space. The show has traditionally attracted top brass from the region’s navy and coast-guard fraternity as well as warships from the international maritime arena. IMDEX Asia 2009 will showcase the latest in Command and Control Systems, Radars, Naval Shipyards – Surface/Underwater, ESM & EW Systems, Communication & Data Links, Decoy Systems, Diving Equipment, Simulation & Training, Helicopters, Sonars, Integrated Combat Systems, Surveillance Systems, Maritime Patrol Aircraft, UAVs, USVs, UUVs, RPVs, Torpedoes, Missiles, On-deck Equipment, Sensors. 85% of the companies are repeat exhibitors.
